Kids and Chiropractic!

Discover Chiropractic makes a point of having parents bring their children to the office to play in the kids area and to get checked for subluxation. Studies show that the average toddler falls up to 1,500 times by the age of two. Newborns, toddlers, and adolescents alike are commonly found with subluxations. The only way an infant has to communicate is to cry. Parents think of the big three first; “I’m Hungry, I’m Sleepy or Change Me!” Our children simply can’t tell us when they have a headache, earache, neck hurts or when their stomach is upset. What if your child’s fits are trying to tell you they have a subluxation?

“When I check the spines of infants and toddlers, it is quite common to detect areas of muscle spasm and soft tissue swelling (often causing a ‘wincing’ response by the child). Very gentle chiropractic adjustments restore joint mobility, increase nerve function to organs and glands. In many cases, infantsDr. Bollinger adjusting a toddler fall asleep following an adjustment, as their bodies naturally relax due to the decreased spinal and neurological stress.”

Dr. Bollinger enjoys the sounds of infants and children in the office. He has a gift for making young ones very comfortable in the healing environment of our chiropractic office. You can be assured that your children are in good hands under his care.
